Arabic & English Sections

The national curriculum, taught properly in two languages.

ElGomhouria Language School follows the Egyptian national curriculum across an Arabic section and an English section. Language is treated as the foundation of the subject, not as an addition to it.

About the school

Forty years of national education, delivered in two languages.

ElGomhouria opened in 1986 as a language school serving families in the district. It has taught the Egyptian national curriculum without interruption since, and now enrols just over two thousand students from KG1 to Grade 12.

The Arabic and English sections follow the same syllabus and sit the same national examinations. What differs is the language of instruction in science and mathematics, and the weight given to English literature and composition.

One curriculum

Both sections sit the same national examinations at the same standard.

Language first

English from KG1, French as a second language from Grade 7.

Experienced faculty

Two-thirds of teachers have been with the school over ten years.

Affordable fees

Held below the district average, reviewed annually.
